This auction features wonderful art, photography and ethnographic collections from the estate of John and Peggy Woodcock with fine additions from other local consignors. John was an award-winning English professor at Indiana University, and Peggy earned a BA in Fine Arts and an MFA in Creative Writing from Indiana University and shared her talents in several administrative roles at IU. The couple wed in 1990, and spent the next 32 years together, visiting over twelve countries in Europe, Asia, and Africa (even being present during the Arab Spring in Egypt as it captivated the world’s attention). They took pictures everywhere they went, both here and abroad, and became renowned as local photographers of great talent, exhibiting in numerous shows.
