DAY ONE – This Fantastic, single owner collection of ratchet clackers and noise makers is a once in a lifetime event. Collected by John W. Johnson, IU Associate Professor Emeritus, Folklore. Over many decades professor Johnson amassed this extraordinary group of unusual objects: 18th & 19th century, hand made wood and iron ratchet clackers used by ships, military, police, firemen and communities to raise alarms; hand made folk art parade noise makers from Bolivia used during the annual Morenada dance, a UNESCO recognized celebration.

DAY TWO – Monday, September 1 – LABOR DAY SPECIAL: Antique and vintage tin toys with litho images for New Years and Halloween holidays and military calls with a wide range of unusual items; toy noisemakers in metal, tin, plastic and wood from around the world.
